I'm a 53 year young woman, sort of a leftover hippy and I have a room to let,
with shared bathroom, kitchen and common areas. I have a large dog and a cat,
so pet lover is a must. Room has basic furnishings and a TV. The rent includes
all utilities, digital cable and ADSL wireless internet in the room. Laundry facilites,
garage parking, use of the yard, etc. is included. I supply all paper and cleaning
products with the exception of laundry consumables. Shared responsibility for
the bathroom and kitchen is a must, I do the rest of the housework. When I do
cook a meal, I will share, so food can be a negotiable issue, I like grocery shopping
and am willing to share the cost of food. The damage deposit is $325. This would
be a perfect situation for a mature, serious University, NAIT or GMCC student;
or someone who is working at Scottford Yard as the bus leaves from a location
which is a 5 minute walk from the house. The house is situated on a number of
major bus routes that will take you to any school in the city pretty much and
I am very knowledgeable about the area and bus routes. I prefer no overnight guests,
but if you have a steady partner this can be negotiable within reason. NO illegal
drugs please!! I prefer someone who is a light drinker and doesn't believe that
perpetual inebriation is an appropriate lifestyle choice. I do need help in the
fall and winter with some of the heavier fall yard cleanup, and with the heavy
snowpack removal and am willing to rebate rent for this help, I do need someone
who is willing to help with these things. I do all of the regular everyday snowshovelling
but cannot remove the hard snowpack by myself. Anyway, please give me a shout
if you are interested...anything is possilbe.
