Kentville is a great place to live since it also invests a lot of its resources into parks and recreation. Kentville Memorial Park is a treasured recreational space here, and hosts basketball courts, ball fields, tennis courts, a swimming pool complex, soccer fields, and a frog pond. Participark is also a wonderful amenity to Kentville. It is about 65 acres of natural woodland that is great for mountain biking, walking and hiking. Oakdene park is another great recreational spot in Kentville. This park has a lot of open space, a soccer field, playground and a duck pond. Plenty of trails and footpaths can be found here as well. Centennial arena is another sport and recreational focal points. It is open all season and can host various events such as hockey, figure skating, concerts or other promotional events.
