New Minas Rentals

New Minas What is there to say about this quaint little town? Well, probably a lot more than we can cover here. New Minas only has about 5,000 residents (actually, a little less). There is, of course, a seasonal surge from time-to-time of people visiting the area. Most of these folks find a home rental, or perhaps a cabin or vacation rental to stay in. Being a small village, there really aren't many places to find out about these rentals online, so that is why we made this page!

New Minas shares a space with Kentville which is a bigger town and offers more businesses and amenities. They have about 14,000 residents (give or take). The village is actually just about 1 hour northwest of Halifax, so if you ever need to go do some "urban craziness" then you aren't far away. This is also convenient in that there is a major airport nearby, so visiting New Minas isn't a chore. The village is also serviced by the Windsor and Hantsport Railway. Several major roads lead into and out of New Minas.

Winters can be cold here, but the other 3 seasons are beautiful in each of their own right. Summer can bring lush flowers, and lots of greenery. Fall brings the colors of the season, and spring starts to see the town come alive again. New Minas is located on the Cornwallis River.

commercial and Office space may be getting to be harder to find, as business and economic opportunities are growing here, and the demand for space is following that trend. Rental units, offices, and retail spaces are in increasing demand in New Minas. Home Rentals, Cottages and other property rentals can be found, but may take some research. New Minas has been called the "Shopping Mecca of the Annapolis Valley."

The lure of New Minas is made up of many parts. The village has a wonderful community feel, and offers many activities and attractions. Families are finding a solid place here, and the town seems to be growing, and weathering the growing pains that seem to come with success.
