We are an Asian couple (husband: Sri Lankan; wife: Filipina) who will be arriving
(as Permanent Canadian Residents) in St. John's on October 29th, 2009. Neither
of us are drinkers or smokers, and, to the best of our knowledge, we have no bad
habits! We are both professionals (doctor and lawyer, respectively). And, we are
looking for a small apartment to rent, OR for room(s) to share & rent. We
would be happy to share a common kitchen, but we would prefer to have private
bathroom/toilet facilities (just for ourselves). A furnished place at reasonable
rent for one year (or more) is what we hope to find, and location is not very
important. If Utilities, Internet, Cable, etc. are included in the rent, that
would be fine for us (but this is not essential). We have no pets, but we would
certainly not mind it, if there were dogs or cats on the premises.

It's a really nice place. It's near Marine Institute, but catching the bus
