Peaceful Lake View Cottage, La Casa Resort, Okanagan Lake
This brand new cottage, fully landscaped, is ideally suited
for a peaceful retreat, with outstanding views of Lake Okanagan
from the large windows inside and the outside deck. Located
30 km north of Westbank and Kelowna, 30 minutes drive along
the scenic Westside Road, in La Casa Resort. It is 4 hours drive
from Vancouver and 7 hours from Calgary. Fully furnished with
3 bedrooms + den (sleeps 6-8). Washer, dryer, air conditioning,
gas fireplace, propane BBQ on the deck with table and chairs.
In the summer, you will be able to enjoy all water sports on
site, with warm water swimming (5 minutes walk to the beach
on quiet paved road), marina and boat launch, aquatic park,
as well as outside pool and hot tub. Other amenities at the
Resort include 2 tennis courts, a mini golf, beach volleyball
court, LaCasa Cantina/Restaurant and grocery store. Over 20
wineries, as well as cheese factories, to visit and taste their
products within 30-90 minutes driving from the cottage. As well
as several golf courses for another great way to enjoy the hot
sun of the Okanagan Valley. Closer to this vacation base, you
will be only 5 minutes driving north from the Fintry Provincial
Park, and 10 minutes from horse riding and ATV riding at Fintry
High Farm. Other activities can be kayaking, mountain byking
and skiing (1h15 min from Silver Star Resort; 1h45 min from
Big White Ski Resort). No pets and no smoking allowed. Minimum
age for the person making the booking is 25 years and that person
must occupy the cottage oover the rental period. If you happen
to have a young baby/infant, play pen, crib and high chair can
be provided for your convenience. The stone-paved driveway is
large enough for at least two cars. Wood laminate throughout
the cottage, except for ceramic tiles in the two full bathrooms.
Cleaning fees are included in the rates. Internet available
in the cottage. No pets and no smoking allowed inside and outside
the cottage. Payment done via PayPal
Rates for 2010: 3 night minimum booking period.
Jan 4 - May 14: $140/night...$850/week (7 nights)
May 15 - Jun 25: $185/night...$1225/week
Jun 26 - Sep 07: $300/night...$1950/week
Sep 08 - Oct 12: $175/night...$1100/week
Oct 13 - Dec 21: $140/night...$850/week
Dec 22 - Jan 02: $150/night...$950/week
GST (5%) to be added to the rates.
35% payment due upon booking; the remainder 65% and a $500
damage deposit due 45 days before arrival/check-in date.
Damage deposit refunded one week after departure provided
no excessive cleaning is required and there is no missing
and/or damaged inventory.
