Ontario
Ontario is big - even by Canadian Standards. It is the 2nd largest
province in Canada (there are 10 altogether) and it ranks first
in terms of population. On this website, we receive more rental
or housing wanted listing from folks in Ontario than from any
other Province. Toronto probably sends us the most listings, followed
by Sudbury, Barrie, and Mississauga.
As of August of 2006, there were 12, 792, 619 residents in Ontario.
Toronto is the Capital of Ontario.
Up north, Ontario is bounded by the Hudson Bay and James Bay.
The northern portion of Ontario is very sparsely populated (this
area is sometimes referred to as the "Canadian Shield".
Ontario has quite diverse weather. In the summer you can expect
hot, humid and sticky. In the winter, cold and blustery is common.
There are really no mountains in Ontario, so no downhill skiing
here to brag about.
Many people commute across the border from the U.S. to work in
Canada. The U.S. and Ontario share a common bond with the automotive
industry. Many automotive companies are found in the larger cities
in southern Ontario.
With the ups and downs of the real estate market in Ontario,
and the rest of Canada, it is no surprise that the rental market

to rent our, or if you are looking for a place to rent in Ontario,
we encourage you to place a free classified ad on this website.
Just go to our posting page to do so.
