Short-term rentals for the Calgary Stampede

Can you believe that it is almost that time of year where we start thinking about things like the Calgary Stampede? Gee whiz, we just got done with the holidays!
Well, believe it or not, people are already starting to ask about short-term rentals for the Calgary Stampede, which is July 3-12. They’re smart, because with the low vacancy rate in Canada lately, it is wise to start early.
Our Calgary page is a great place to list your rentals for this week of hootin’ and hollerin’! We’ll also accept ‘housing wanted’ ads for the Stampede as well, so if you aren’t having any luck, post a quick ad letting people know what you are looking for and you’ll likely get some good responses. Many people will rent rooms, or basements to people for this event. It’s a great way to make some extra cash, and maybe meet some interesting cowboys and cowgirls!

    I found my apartment this past month because a wicked little site called http://www.Viewit.ca. Easiest way to find a place so far, tons of ads to chose from, it’s across Canada and the site is clean, smart and easy to navigate. Might be a good avenue to look for a place if you are wondering what website to use.

    I have a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment that needs to be rented from march 1st 2010. The apartment has a wrap around balcony where you can see both downtown and a direct view of the saddledome. The apartment is 900 sq ft. beautifully laid out. It comes with an insuite laundry and has a storage space, one parking spot underground, one visitor parking, a game room with pool table and a jacuzzi and gym area.     We own (and live in) a 3 bedroom (+ den), 1 1/2 bath bungalow in the inner city neighborhood of Mayland Heights in Calgary and were entertaining the idea of renting out our home during stampede week as we usually go out of town during this time as the city seems to double in size. We are a 2 min drive to the zoo and a c-train ride away from the stampede. Where are you coming from?
