My name is David, and I run this silly little website. Well, maybe it’s not so silly since it has really gone way past my initial expectations. I have a few other real-estate type websites that have done fairly well. I was doing some research for one of them some time ago, and I came across a few Canadian property websites, and thought that many of them were pretty expensive and hard to navigate. After a short time, I decided that Canada needed an easy-to-use, free (or really inexpensive) rental listing website.
To me, nothing is more annoying than a website that makes you jump through hoop after hoop to get your listing up – Messy logins, irrelevant questions, and the like. I like the “Keep it simple, stupid” or “KISS” method. So that’s how this site came to be. It grows every month, and the traffic is on a very steady increase. I sometimes get over 100 listings a day. Not bad for the site being only a year old (at the time of this writing).
There are some really good Canadian property and real estate websites out there – don’t get me wrong! You know who you are! I am just trying to offer something a little different.
I run this website out of my home, with my wife and my 3 -year old son.
